Commercial Invoice Embassy Legalization
The US Arab Chamber of Commerce USACC provides US exporters and corporations with expedited legalization service for Commercial Invoice for use in the Arab Countries.
Before you send us the Commercial Invoice, ensure that your document is:
- An original document signed by a corporate agent (blue ink).
- Notarized by a local notary public. Download a Commercial Invoice sample form (CI).
- Certified from your local Secretary of State Office.
After we receive your C/I, we will process the following certifications:
- Authentication from the US Department of State in Washington DC.
- The US Arab Chamber of Commerce Stamp
- Embassy legalization from the embassy of the destination county in Washington DC.

The legalization of a Commercial Invoice and a Certificate of Origin are obligatory to export any shipment to Bahrain, Libya, Qatar or UAE.
Certificate of Origin Form
Export documents that is required by the customs of the imported country to estimate the value of the imported shipment to assess the required taxes on the imported goods. A Commercial Invoice C/ I must include the contact information about both the buyer and seller. It also must includes the following:
- The date and terms of sale.
- Quantity of goods and the weight of the shipment.
- Type of packaging.
- Complete description of the imported goods.
- Insurance, Shipping and other charges.
How to prepare your envelope?
- You must ensure that your document is ready for the legalization process.
If you are not sure, please call us on: (202) 468-4200 for verification first. - After that, prepare an envelope that contain all the following:
- The documents that need legalization.
- Your payment. We accept all major credit cards, money order and wire transfer. Make your payment payable to the US Arab Chamber of Commerce.
- Your contact information including: your name, phone, email, and destination country.
- A prepaid return airway bill to send the documents back to you after finishing.
