The legalization of a Commercial Invoice and a Certificate of Origin are obligatory to export any shipment to Bahrain, Libya, Qatar or UAE.
A Certificate of Origin( CoO, COO, or C/O) is a certification used in international export shipments to specify the origin of the exported goods along with other product-related information such as the contact information about the U.S. exporter and the importer, country of origin, Transportation and packaging details, the description and the quantity of the exported products. The CO may be completed as an electronic or printed form and prepared by the exported. It must be signed by a corporate agent , certified by the local Secretary of State Office, authenticated by the US Department of State, Stamped by the US Arab Chamber of Commerce and finally legalized by the embassy of the destination country in Washington DC.
